Strength in Community Workshops (SCW) Program

On International Women's Day 2023, WeMB received $1.48 millon in funding under round two of the WES Ecosystem Fund. That funding gave us the opportunity to expand our successful Strength in Community Workshop Program to serve more women.

The funding provided allows WeMB to focus on supporting women entrepreneurs in their areas of strength while expanding supports to rural and remote regions and the north.

This funding has expanded the SCW Program across seven provinces in partnership with other key agencies in the Women Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.

1. Building Personal Leadership is about building your personal leadership skills and confidence so you can better support the most important person in your buiness: YOU.
2. Communicating to Connect is about moving the inner dialogue to outward exchanges and how we engage with others when talking about our business.
3. Taking Charge is about sharing our successes and failures, fears and joys, and developing connection with other women to garner a larger/new sense of community and belonging.
