Who We Are

Since joining the WeMB team in 2011, Alanna has been a strong force advocating for self-identifying women and their partners in business. First as a skilled facilitator and Business Advisor assisting entrepreneurs with every aspect of their business operation, then rising to her current role as Managing Director & Privacy Officer embracing the challenges of building allyship for women+ entrepreneurs.

A serial entrepreneur—with four different businesses launched in her 20s and 30s—she’s also an accomplished business and fund development professional with 20+ years of experience serving the not-for-profit sector. For several years Alanna operated a consulting practice focused on the areas of leadership and fund development, strategic planning, marketing, and communications. In addition, she has worked as a member of senior leadership teams for several large arts and educational institutions where she implemented innovative programs, identified business opportunities, led operational improvement, and drove implementation for startup and existing business partnerships.
